USAF finalizing plans for road and rail-based ICBM

A Congressional Research Service report published last week has revealed the U.S. Air Force’s intention to give its next-generation intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) an on and off-road launch capability.

Washington Times says the U.S. Air Force also considered a railway car-based ICBM that would be stored in tunnels. The tunnels are like a subway system and the rail cars can fire their missiles through openings.
